Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 12, 2025
Last Updated: April 21, 2026

Company: Akamai HR Solutions, LLC
Website: https://akamaihrsolutions.com
Applies To: Website use, website purchases, and website-offered products and services

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Akamai HR Solutions, LLC website and any products, resources, or services that are offered for purchase or request through the website. By using the website or purchasing website-offered services or products, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

1. Business Use Only

The website and website-offered services are intended for business and professional use only. They are not offered for personal, family, or household purposes.

2. No Legal Advice; No Attorney-Client Relationship

Akamai HR Solutions is an HR consulting business, not a law firm. Nothing on the website, in website content, in purchased deliverables, or in communications arising from the website constitutes legal advice, creates an attorney-client relationship, or substitutes for advice from qualified legal counsel.

References on the website to attorney-vetted, attorney-reviewed, compliant, enforceable, or similar concepts describe aspects of Akamai's process or quality standards and do not constitute a promise of legal outcome, jurisdiction-specific sufficiency, or legal representation. Employment laws change frequently and may apply differently based on jurisdiction, industry, workforce structure, and specific facts. You remain responsible for obtaining legal review where appropriate for your business and the jurisdictions in which you operate.

3. Website Information and Service Descriptions

We aim to describe our services and website content accurately, but we do not guarantee that all website content is complete, current, or error-free at all times. We may update, revise, or discontinue website content, offers, pricing, or service descriptions without prior notice.

4. Orders, Payment, and Delivery

Website Orders and Payment

Payment is required as stated at checkout, on the applicable order page, or on the invoice for the website-offered service or product. Website payment transactions are handled by third-party payment processors. Akamai does not store full payment card information through the website checkout process.

Delivery and Access

Website-offered deliverables may be provided electronically, including by email, secure file delivery, or through a third-party portal or document automation platform such as SixFifty. Portal or access credentials may be provided separately by email or other direct communication.

5. Refund Policy

Consulting services that have already been performed are non-refundable. For website-purchased handbook or similar digital deliverables, you may request cancellation and a refund before the completed final product has been delivered to your portal, delivered electronically, or otherwise made available to you. Once the completed final product has been delivered or made available, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Optional Annual Re-Engagement

If the website references annual updates, annual support, or annual re-engagement options, those references describe an optional future service opportunity only. They do not create an automatic renewal, recurring subscription, or authorization for repeated charges unless you separately and affirmatively agree to such terms in writing at that time.

7. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information needed for the requested service, reviewing deliverables promptly, and ensuring that your business obtains any legal or operational approvals it deems appropriate before implementation. Akamai is not responsible for errors, delays, or compliance issues resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated information provided by you.

8. Intellectual Property and Limited License

The website, its content, and Akamai's methodologies, frameworks, templates, copy, designs, and deliverables are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to full payment of applicable fees, Akamai grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use purchased deliverables for your own internal business purposes.

You may not reproduce, publish, sell, sublicense, distribute, or exploit Akamai materials outside your organization except with Akamai's prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Akamai's intellectual property to you.

9. Reviews, Testimonials, and Submitted Content

If you submit a review, testimonial, comment, or similar content through the website, you represent that the content is truthful, based on your actual experience, and does not violate any law or the rights of any third party. You grant Akamai a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, display, and publish that content in connection with its business, marketing, and website operations, subject to applicable law.

Akamai may remove reviews or submitted content at its discretion, including where content appears unlawful, misleading, abusive, spam-related, or inconsistent with these Terms.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the website to violate any law, infringe others' rights, interfere with website security or operation, submit malicious code, impersonate another person or entity, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may use or link to third-party providers, including hosting providers, payment processors, analytics providers, video platforms, document automation platforms, and other business tools. Akamai is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, content, security, or privacy practices of third parties. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

12. Disclaimers

The website and website-offered content, products, and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Akamai disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and any warranty that the website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Akamai HR Solutions, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the website, any website content, or any website-offered product or service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Akamai's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the website, these Terms, or any website-offered product or service will not exceed the amount actually paid by you to Akamai for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim during the twelve-month period preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Akamai HR Solutions, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of the website, your breach of these Terms, your submitted content, or your violation of law or the rights of a third party.

15. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the website, these Terms, or any website-offered product or service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in or serving Kern County, California, and each party consents to that jurisdiction and venue.

16. Force Majeure

Akamai will not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including internet outages, platform failures, labor disruptions, governmental actions, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on the website and updating the Last Updated date. Your continued use of the website after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Electronic Communications

By using the website or communicating with us electronically, you consent to receive electronic communications from Akamai. You agree that electronic notices, disclosures, agreements, and records satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
